What is wrong
Your website has pages with no title tag, or a title tag that is empty. The title tag is the text that appears at the top of a browser tab and in search engine results. Without one, search engines cannot tell what your page is about.
Why it costs you
When a page has no title, search engines struggle to understand its purpose and may not show it in results at all. Visitors who find a link to your page in search results or social media will see nothing to tell them what the page contains, so many will not click through. The page becomes invisible to both machines and people.
How to fix it
Add a unique, descriptive title tag to every page. The title tag lives in the head section of your HTML code, between `<title>` and `</title>` tags. If you run a template-based website (WordPress, Shopify, or similar), add the title to the page template or settings once rather than editing each page separately. The title should describe what the page is actually about in plain language—for a product page, include the product name; for a service page, include the service and your location or specialism.
