Terms of service
These are the terms for using Lala SEO. Using the service means you accept them. Who the contract is with is set out under Contact at the end.
1. What the service does
Lala SEO crawls a website you nominate and reports technical findings — checks against published search-engine documentation and long-standing technical practice. Findings are verified against the live page at the time of the crawl.
2. What it does not do
- We do not predict or guarantee rankings. We are not affiliated with Google and have no access to its ranking systems. Nothing here is a forecast of traffic, position or revenue.
- The health score is our own triage number, not a Google metric, and no search engine sees it.
- Explanations are written by an AI called Lala. It explains findings; it never decides them. You should apply judgement before changing your site.
- Our crawler does execute JavaScript, but only on a sample of pages - the first fifteen framework-built pages of an audit are re-rendered in a real browser before anything is judged. Pages beyond that sample are reported as unverified rather than assessed, so on a large site rendered entirely in the browser some pages are listed as not fully inspected rather than given findings.
3. Acceptable use
You may only audit a site you own or are authorised to audit. Crawling costs bandwidth on someone else's server. We may suspend or close an account that audits sites without authorisation, attempts to overwhelm a third-party site, or tries to circumvent our rate limits or quotas.
4. How we crawl
We obey robots.txt and we identify ourselves honestly in the user agent. We
rate-limit our own requests. We do not attempt to access anything behind a login, and we
refuse internal and private network addresses.
5. Your reports
A report is reachable by an unguessable link and is marked noindex. Anyone with
the link can read it. Treat the link as you would the report itself.
6. Plans, quotas and payment
- Each plan has a stated allowance. Exceeding it limits further use until the allowance resets; it never deletes work you have already done.
- Subscriptions are billed in advance, a month at a time. The seller is
Creem, our payment company: Creem takes the payment and sends your
receipt, and the charge on your card statement begins
CREEM.IO*, not Lala SEO. - The price you subscribe at is the price you keep for as long as that subscription runs without interruption. If we raise prices, existing subscribers are not moved to the new price. Changes in sales tax, VAT or GST are set by your government and are passed through. Creem works out any sales tax, VAT or GST when you pay, from where you live.
- You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops the next renewal; the plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for. To cancel, or to change your card, go to creem.io/my-orders/login and sign in with the email you paid with, or write to support@lalaseo.com.
7. Refunds
If the service does not work as described, write to support@lalaseo.com within 14 days of a charge and we will refund it. The refund is paid back through Creem, the seller on your receipt. Statutory rights, including EU and UK withdrawal rights, are not affected by anything in this section.
8. Availability
We do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change or withdraw features. If we discontinue a paid plan, we will refund the unused part of the period you have paid for.
9. Liability
Lala SEO gives technical information; the decisions you make with it are yours. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose, and we are not liable for lost profit, lost traffic or lost data. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Ending an account
You may delete your account at any time, and your audits are deleted with it. If you pay for a plan, cancel it before you delete your account, so that the payments stop. We may close an account that breaches section 3, and will refund any unused paid period unless the breach was deliberate.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Ontario, Canada. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in.
12. Changes
If we change these terms materially, we will email account holders before the change takes effect. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
