What is wrong
When someone shares a link to your website on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or similar platforms, those sites show a preview with a title. Right now, every page on your site shows the same title in that preview, regardless of which page is actually being shared.
Why it costs you
This means visitors scrolling through social media cannot tell the pages apart. If someone shares your homepage and someone else shares a product or article page, both previews look identical. People are less likely to click a link when the preview does not match what they expect to find.
How to fix it
To fix this, add an Open Graph title tag to your page templates. This tag lives in the `<head>` section and looks like `<meta property="og:title" content="Your unique page title here">`. For pages that already have a regular title tag, use that same text in the og:title. If you manage your site through a CMS, there is usually a dedicated field for social media titles—fill it in separately for each page or template so the preview is specific to that content.
What the audit tests
- Pages with different titles do not all share one link preview title
